When you are looking to boost higher and float longer, the 2027 Duotone Rebel SLS gives you the vertical takeoff and predictable control you need for high-altitude sessions. You'll feel direct steering feedback through the bar, making timing your sheet-and-go takeoffs natural and precise. The stiff airframe maintains stability through powerful loops while ensuring reliable recovery on your descent. Whether you are dialing in technical board-offs or pushing your big air limits, the 2027 Duotone Rebel SLS delivers confidence in demanding conditions.

What Duotone has to say:

The Duotone Rebel SLS is built for riders seeking maximum hangtime, explosive vertical lift, and precise control in every Big Air session. Combining Duotone’s Strong Light Superior construction with refined aerodynamic efficiency and increased structural stiffness, the Rebel SLS delivers an exceptionally direct and powerful riding experience for ambitious Freeriders and dedicated Big Air athletes.

Known for its iconic lift and legendary hangtime, the Rebel SLS generates explosive vertical takeoffs with intuitive timing and remarkable flight stability. The highly efficient airframe accelerates rapidly overhead when sheeting in, creating the signature “Sheet and Go” feeling that allows riders to access massive jumps with minimal effort while maintaining full control throughout the takeoff phase.

Once airborne, the Rebel SLS reveals one of its most defining characteristics: extended float and controlled airtime. A cleaner canopy profile, reduced drag characteristics, and refined frame stiffness improve overall lift efficiency, allowing riders to stay longer at the apex of jumps with stability and steering precision throughout the entire flight phase. This creates the platform for board-offs, controlled rotations, technical tricks, and progressive Big Air manoeuvres.

Who is this for?

This kite is designed for ambitious freeriders and dedicated big air riders who want high-altitude jumps, extended hangtime, and precise control. It offers an accessible feel across a wide wind range while giving experienced riders the frame stability and immediate bar feedback required for kite loops, board-offs, and progressive maneuvers in strong winds.

Design Profile:

A high-performance freeride and big air kite built with Strong Light Superior (SLS) frame stiffness, optimized leading edge geometry, and a clean canopy profile.

Performance Features:

Explosive vertical lift with intuitive timing and takeoff control.
Cleaner canopy profile and reduced drag for extended float and apex stability.
Rapid overhead acceleration for efficient "Sheet and Go" jumping.
Optimized leading edge geometry supporting higher inflation pressure for stable loops and strong pull.
Direct bar feedback transferring steering inputs instantly to the canopy.

Design Features:

Strong Light Superior (SLS) Construction - Combines higher frame stiffness with reduced overall weight to improve aerodynamic efficiency and steering response.
Sheet and Go Airframe - Climbs quickly overhead when sheeted in, allowing you to generate massive lift with minimal effort.
Optimized Leading Edge Geometry - Engineered to support increased inflation pressures, maintaining canopy integrity during high-speed kite loops and hard catches.
Advanced Seam Technology - Translates steering inputs directly into immediate canopy reaction for fine positioning during aerial maneuvers.
Concept Blue Option - Available in an eco-conscious build featuring undyed fabrics, a bio-based bladder (up to 57% bio-based carbon content), and recycled polymer components.
