Houston Kiteboarding Lesson Information Page

Houston Kiteboarding now teaches lessons in the public riding areas along the Texas City Levee and Dike, just down the road from our shop. We have been teaching kiteboarding and watersports lessons in this area for more than 20 years.

We are no longer affiliated with the local club. However, we are always happy to answer questions about the Texas City riding area, current conditions, or your specific sport. Call or text us at 281-508-6485.

How to Schedule Your Lesson

2. Complete Your Waiver

After booking or scheduling your lesson, complete the appropriate online waiver from your phone:

• Kiteboarding and Wing Lesson Waiver
• eFoil Experience Waiver

3. Follow the Meeting-Point Directions

Most lessons are taught at the Texas City Levee riding area. It is very important to follow these directions because GPS may route you incorrectly on Skyline Drive.

Begin by navigating to this location: Texas City Levee meeting-point entrance .

Directions From I-45 South

1. Take the FM 1764 exit toward Texas City.
2. Continue straight on FM 1764/Palmer Highway.
3. Turn right onto Bay Street.
4. Take an immediate left onto Dike Road.
5. Follow Dike Road over the levee and continue through the pay gate.
6. After passing through the gate, make a U-turn.
7. Drive north along Skyline Drive at the top of the raised levee.
8. Continue approximately 1.6 miles. Look for our trailer displaying Houston Kiteboarding logos just beyond the small hill.

Your instructor will be waiting near the trailer or may already be on the water with a kite or Jet Ski.

4. Watch for Your Lesson Confirmation

Check your phone and email the day before your lesson. We will contact you to confirm the meeting time and location based on wind, weather, and water conditions. Lesson locations may change when conditions require it.
