The lightest battery option for LIFTX! Built for sharper turns, easier pumping, and surf-focused powered foiling.

The Lift LIFTX Light Battery weighs just 12.4 lb, making it 4.4 lb lighter than the standard LIFTX Battery. Reducing that weight lowers swing weight and gives the board quicker rail-to-rail response, easier pumping, and a more natural feel closer to a prone foil.

Its 0.54 kWh capacity provides approximately 25 minutes of powered ride time. Because this figure measures time actively using the throttle—not total session time—riders using short bursts of power to reach waves, wake, swell, or downwind bumps can experience considerably longer overall sessions.

The battery reaches a full charge in approximately 35 minutes with the compatible Lift Quick Charger. It drops directly into any LIFTX board and can also be used with current-generation LIFT5 and LIFT5 F boards when paired with the separately sold LIFTX Battery Adapter.

Lightweight Surf-Focused Performance

Removing 4.4 lb from the standard LIFTX battery configuration makes a noticeable difference in how the board responds. The reduced weight allows quicker direction changes, easier pumping, lower rotational inertia, and a more connected feel when carving waves or riding off power.

LIFT5 Weight Savings with Adapter

When installed in a current-generation LIFT5 or LIFT5 F using the 2.3 lb LIFTX Battery Adapter, the LIFTX Light Battery reduces total setup weight by approximately 15.8 lb compared with the Gen5 Full Range Battery.

The lower weight significantly changes the handling of compatible LIFT5 setups while allowing the original Gen5 battery to remain available whenever maximum powered range is preferred.

Battery Care and Storage

• Inspect the enclosure, seals, handle, and contact areas before every session.
• Do not use the battery if cracks, case separation, unusual heat, red warning lights, smoke, vapor, unusual sounds, or chemical odors are present.
• Allow the battery to cool after riding before charging.
• Charge indoors in a dry, ventilated area away from water and flammable materials.
• Use only the compatible Lift Quick Charger.
• Do not leave the battery charging unattended.
• For storage, maintain approximately 30–50% charge and check the charge level every 90 days.
• Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, hot vehicles, and extreme temperature changes.

Ride time varies based on rider weight, foil configuration, propeller, riding speed, wind, water conditions, and throttle use. Faster powered riding reduces available ride time.
