Freeride Foil Assist Package

The Duotone Foil Cruise Set AL is designed for flatwater cruising, assisted takeoffs, and foiling in swell. Built around the shorter 80 cm eMast AL Cruise, this setup is ideal for entry-level and intermediate foilers who want a stable, user-friendly Foil Assist system for building skills and exploring new spots.

The Cruise mast offers a stiff, direct, and responsive feel while keeping the motor low on the mast, positioned just 15 cm above the fuselage. This lower motor placement helps deliver efficient power and smooth control while riding.

Important Compatibility Note: A fuselage adapter is required to mount your foil fuselage to the eMast. The adapter is not included and must be purchased separately. In addition to the Duotone adapter, multiple adapter options are available to help connect the Foil Assist system with compatible foil setups.

Armstrong Compatibility: All three Duotone Foil Assist masts are compatible with Armstrong wing sets when used with the specially designed aluminum fuselage. For use with aluminum masts, a Duotone adapter is also required.

What’s Included

eMast AL Cruise Set

The 80 cm eMast AL Cruise is made from lightweight aluminum and is slightly shorter than the standard eMast AL, making it a strong choice for newer foilers while still performing well in swell and choppy water. The mast is incredibly stiff and provides a direct, responsive feel.

The powerful motor is mounted low on the mast and features a two-blade folding propeller. The Cruise set also includes an optional propeller guard for added protection.

eHarness Set

The Foil Assist system is powered by two compact batteries housed in a waterproof battery box mounted on a lightweight eHarness, approximately 3.76 kg. This keeps extra weight and drag off your board while preserving the natural, fluid feel of foiling.

With the batteries positioned on your hips, the eHarness allows full freedom of movement while riding. The harness is buoyant and easy to remove, and the cable runs neatly along the shorter board leash to connect the battery system to the eMast. The receiver integrated into the battery box provides a stable connection between the remote and motor throughout your session.

eRemote Watch Ring Set

The included eRemote Watch Ring Set combines a waterproof smartwatch-style controller with a finger ring controller. This hands-free design makes it easier to paddle, push up from the board, duck dive, or grab your wing boom while maintaining control of the Foil Assist system.

Activate the motor with a double-click of the + button, then control speed by pressing and holding the + or - button on the ring controller.

Battery Charger Set

The included charger can fully charge both batteries in under one hour and features a discharge function to help maintain long-term battery health.

Airtravel-Friendly Battery Set

Depending on rider skill level, foil setup, and conditions, the Foil Assist batteries provide approximately 30 to 50 minutes of runtime per charge.
