Performance-Focused Design

The Universal Mini Pod adopts the streamlined form factor of integrated mast systems while remaining 100% removable. This provides riders with the adaptability of a universal mount combined with enhanced hydrodynamics, simpler installation, and a more refined riding experience.

Its compact shape significantly reduces wetted surface area, minimizing drag and turbulence commonly associated with traditional universal motor mounts. Riders can expect improved efficiency, smoother acceleration, easier take-offs, and better recovery after touchdowns.

How It Works

The Universal Mini Pod features a three-part design consisting of:

• Inner Pod – Mounts directly to the V2 Motor and remains attached.
• Outer Pod – A removable hydrodynamic shell that conforms to your mast profile for a secure fit.
• Reinforced Rubber Strap – EPDM rubber reinforced with aramid fiber for exceptional strength, durability, and resistance to UV exposure and saltwater environments.

The Inner and Outer Pods slide onto the mast and are secured using the included quick-release strap system. Three strap sizes are included to accommodate a wide range of mast dimensions.

Technical Specifications

• Installation Type: Toolless instant-latching system. The Inner Pod requires a one-time installation to the motor using the included M4 x 16mm bolts.

  • Small: 95–110mm
  • Medium: 112–128mm
  • Large: 130–145mm
  Most masts on the market use the Medium strap size.
• Materials:
  • Inner Pod: Injection-molded ABS
  • Outer Pod: Injection-molded ABS
  • Straps: EPDM rubber reinforced with aramid fiber
  Designed for long-term durability in sun, saltwater, and harsh marine environments.

• 1 × Outer Pod – Hydrodynamic shell with internal rubber insert for mast protection, fit adjustment, and vibration damping.
• 1 × Inner Pod – Attaches directly to the motor and features a 7-position ladder adjustment system for varying mast profiles.
• 3 × Pod Straps
  • Small: 95–110mm
  • Medium: 112–128mm
  • Large: 130–145mm
• 4 × M4 x 16mm Bolts – For attaching the Inner Pod to the motor.
• 1 × Mast Cable Guide – Helps secure the motor cable to the mast.

Note: Electrical tape or a similar fastening solution is required to secure the motor cable to the mast and is not included.

Mast Compatibility

The Universal Mini Pod has been engineered for broad compatibility across nearly all mast profiles currently available. Universal fitment is achieved through a combination of:

• Three interchangeable strap sizes
• Seven ladder-style tension adjustment positions
• Flexible Outer Pod design that conforms to mast shape

Once the appropriate strap length is selected, riders can fine-tune strap tension using the integrated ladder adjustment system to achieve an optimal fit for their specific mast.

While extensive testing and development have ensured compatibility with the vast majority of mast designs, certain uniquely shaped or sized masts may fall outside the supported range.
