The Lift 32" LCS Carbon 55 Folding Propulsion combines a full-length carbon mast, compact 55mm direct-drive motor, and tool-free LCS Folding Glide Propeller in a lightweight propulsion system developed for the LIFTX.

Choose the Low-Mount configuration for dependable powered takeoffs, sustained thrust, downwind runs, and easier progression, or select the High-Mount configuration for surf-focused riding with no motor drag once the motor rises above the water.

Powered When You Need It. Clean Glide When You Don’t.

The LCS Folding Glide Propeller provides smooth acceleration while the motor is running. When the rider releases the throttle, the propeller blades fold tightly against the motor to reduce drag and restore a more natural foil feel.

This allows riders to use power to reach distant waves, return upwind, accelerate onto foil, or cross flat sections before releasing the throttle and riding swell, wake, or open-water bumps with minimal propulsion drag.

Compact 55mm Direct-Drive Motor

The 55mm propulsion is slimmer than Lift’s full-power 68mm eFoil motor. Its narrower profile reduces drag and weight, making it especially well suited to riders who prioritize surf, glide, and intermittent powered assistance.

Lift’s direct-drive Quiet Ride Technology eliminates internal reduction gears, producing smooth and near-silent power with immediate throttle response.

Lift Connect System

The Lift Connect System allows compatible propulsion components to click securely into place without conventional propeller tools. The folding propeller can be removed or installed quickly using Lift’s push-and-lock connection.

The propulsion also connects directly with compatible LCS boards and front wings, simplifying setup, transportation, and component changes.

Choose Your Motor Position

Low Mount – Standard

The most versatile option for powered riding, learning, and downwind sessions.

The Low-Mount motor remains deeper in the water during takeoff and while riding. This provides consistent thrust, predictable acceleration, and dependable power through changing board heights and water conditions.

High Mount

The surf-forward option for riders prioritizing maximum off-power glide.

The High-Mount motor is positioned farther up the mast. It remains submerged during takeoff but rises clear of the water once the rider reaches sufficient foil height.

With the motor out of the water, the rider experiences no motor drag while carving waves or connecting swell. The tradeoff is that powered thrust is lost whenever the motor is above the water.

Compatibility

This 55mm propulsion is designed primarily for LIFTX and is also listed by Lift as compatible with LIFT5 and LIFT5 F boards.

A compatible Lift battery, hand controller, LCS front wing, back wing, board, and associated hardware are required to create a complete powered foil setup.

This propulsion is not compatible with Lift3, Lift3 F, Lift4, or previous-generation bolt-on eFoil boards.

Confirm whether the propulsion travel case is included with each stocked variant before publishing. Lift identifies a dedicated High-Mount Propulsion Travel Case with the High-Mount package, but the current standalone Low-Mount product page does not clearly list its case contents.

Not included: board, battery, charger, hand controller, front wing, back wing, wing hardware, and other eFoil components.

Motor and Propeller Safety

Disconnect and remove the battery before inspecting, installing, removing, or servicing the propulsion or propeller.

A paired hand controller can activate the motor unexpectedly when the battery is connected. Never place hands, feet, clothing, tools, or other objects near the propeller while the system is powered.

Do not handle the propeller in the water, and inspect the propeller connection, folding blades, mast, motor, cables, and mounting surfaces before every session.
