The 2026 Nobile NHP Split is designed for riders who want a responsive freeride and freestyle board without the inconvenience of traveling with a full-length twintip.

Nobile’s fourth-generation W-Connection allows the board to separate into two sections in seconds. Depending on the selected size, the packed board measures approximately 29 to 31 inches long, making it significantly easier to fit into conventional checked luggage alongside your other kiteboarding equipment.

For 2026, Nobile updated the NHP Split with a lighter, stronger, and stiffer paulownia wood core. The refined construction improves durability, power transfer, pop, and responsiveness while maintaining the controlled flex and vibration damping required for comfortable freeride sessions.

Built for Kiteboarding Travel

The Nobile Split connection is the defining feature of the NHP Split. The center connection creates a secure, rigid platform while riding but allows the board to be separated quickly for transportation or compact storage.

Once separated, both board sections can be placed inside the included protective cover and packed into suitable travel luggage. Actual airline allowances and suitcase compatibility vary, so always confirm packed dimensions and baggage policies before traveling.

Performance Without the Travel Compromise

The NHP Split is designed to provide the speed, edge control, pop, and landing comfort expected from a performance freeride board, not simply portability.

Its hydrodynamic rocker reduces drag and supports efficient acceleration, while the progressive concave and deep tip channels provide dependable grip for riding upwind, loading the edge, boosting, carving, and landing.

Updated Paulownia Wood Core

The 2026 construction uses a refined paulownia wood core designed to reduce unnecessary weight while increasing structural strength and stiffness.

Wood naturally combines flex, vibration damping, strength, and low weight. This helps the NHP Split remain responsive when loaded while maintaining a smooth and predictable ride through chop.

BoomTAG Digital Identification

The 2026 NHP Split features an integrated BoomTAG NFC digital identification system. Owners can associate contact information with the board, making it easier for someone to identify and return it if it is lost or misplaced.

Added Pre-Stress Technology

Nobile’s Added Pre-Stress construction introduces controlled tension into the board during manufacturing. This increases torsional resistance and allows the board to store and release energy during takeoff.

The technology supports stronger pop while allowing the board to remain relatively thin, lightweight, and durable.

Fourth-Generation W-Connection

The center W-Connection locks the two board sections together and transfers riding loads through the center of the board. It is designed to preserve consistent flex and a solid underfoot feel while allowing repeated assembly and disassembly.

Elliptical Progressive Concave

The center of the board uses a concave bottom profile that transitions toward flatter tip sections. This combines efficient early planing and acceleration with predictable release and controlled handling.

Hydrodynamic Rocker Line

The rocker profile is designed around water movement beneath the board. Reduced drag helps the NHP Split accelerate efficiently, maintain speed through wind lulls, and drive upwind.

Double Trust Rectangular Channels

Deep rectangular channels near the tips provide additional grip and stability while edging, carving, jumping, and landing. Their grip also allows the board to perform with compact 40mm fins.

3D Flex Management

Nobile’s three-dimensional construction controls where and how the board flexes. Selected sections remain responsive while other areas absorb impacts and vibration, creating a combination of quick reaction, control, and landing comfort.

Fins: Four G10 40mm fins with Click & Go hardware.

Assembly and Care

Before every session, confirm that the center W-Connection is fully seated and securely fastened. Inspect the connection surfaces, hardware, fins, inserts, handle, bindings, and board for damage or excessive wear.

Rinse the board and hardware with fresh water after saltwater use. Allow all parts and the protective cover to dry completely before packing the board for storage or travel.
