The Duotone Foil Assist Set D/LAB is the lightest, stiffest, and lowest-drag Foil Assist setup in the Duotone range. Built for high-performance prone surf foiling and downwind riding, the D/LAB system is ideal for connecting small to medium waves, linking bumps, and maximizing glide with minimal drag.

Designed around the premium carbon eMast D/LAB, this setup delivers the highest level of performance, control, and efficiency in the Foil Assist lineup. The slim carbon mast profile, integrated motor pod, and two-blade folding propeller help preserve the natural feel of foiling while giving you power when you need it.

Important Compatibility Note: The eMast D/LAB features a 3BS connection and is compatible with Duotone and Armstrong foils when used with the specially designed eFuselage. Optional wing sets include larger front wings. For smaller front wing options, please call or text us before ordering.

What’s Included

eMast D/LAB Set

Built from lightweight carbon and measuring 84 cm, the eMast D/LAB is the lightest and most advanced mast in the Duotone Foil Assist lineup. Its slim, low-drag profile delivers playful and precise turning, exceptional rigidity, and maximum speed potential.

The motor pod is seamlessly molded into the mast profile and positioned 17 cm below the top plate to minimize drag, even during touchdowns. The two-blade folding propeller reduces resistance for effortless glide on the wave, while the integrated gear system allows the propeller to unfold instantly when power is needed.

The eMast mounts to your board and fuselage like a conventional foil mast and is compatible with most foilboards that use a standard track mount system.

Performance Tip: For optimal battery performance, pair the eMast with a front wing of at least 900 cm² and a board with a minimum volume of 35L.

eHarness Set

The Foil Assist system is powered by two compact batteries housed in a waterproof battery box mounted on a lightweight eHarness, weighing approximately 3.76 kg. This keeps extra weight and drag off your board while preserving the natural, fluid feel of foiling.

With the batteries positioned on your hips, the eHarness allows full freedom of movement while riding. The harness is buoyant and easy to remove, and the cable runs neatly along the shorter board leash to connect the battery system to the eMast. The receiver integrated into the battery box provides a stable and reliable connection between the remote and motor throughout your session.

eRemote Watch Ring Set

The included eRemote Watch Ring Set combines a waterproof smartwatch-style controller with a finger ring controller. This hands-free design makes it easier to push up from the board, paddle, duck dive, carve, or handle a wing while maintaining control of the Foil Assist system.

Activate the motor with a double-click of the + button, then control speed by pressing and holding the + or - button on the ring controller.

Battery Charger Set

The included charger can fully charge both batteries in under one hour and features a discharge function to help maintain long-term battery health.

Air Travel-Friendly Battery Set

Depending on rider skill level, foil setup, and conditions, the Foil Assist batteries provide approximately 30 to 60 minutes of runtime per charge.
