CORE Pace Pro 2 Kite

Massive height, precise loops, and complete control for modern Big Air.

The CORE Pace Pro 2 is an ultra-high-performance Big Air kite developed for riders chasing greater height, longer hangtime, controlled kiteloops, and explosive loaded-pop performance.

Its completely redesigned five-strut platform provides substantially more structure and high-end stability than the original Pace Pro. The Pace Pro 2 remains fast, direct, and sporty, but feels calmer and more composed when heavily powered or committed to technical Big Air maneuvers.

More playful and actively driven than the XR Pro, yet more powerful and stable than the standard Pace, the Pace Pro 2 rewards accurate timing and committed riding with exceptional lift, predictable loops, and controlled landings.

Designed for Future Big Air

Modern Big Air increasingly demands more than fast rotation. Riders need dependable height, sustained hangtime, predictable loop timing, and enough control to complete technical maneuvers safely.

The Pace Pro 2 is designed around those demands. Its high-aspect shape, refined sweep, deeper center profile, and carefully tuned fixed bridle produce strong vertical lift while maintaining clean, controllable loop radii.

Five-Strut Stability

The most significant change from the original Pace Pro is the transition from three struts to a five-strut frame. The additional structure increases stability at the upper end of the wind range, creates a more planted feel through the front lines, and helps the kite maintain its intended shape under heavy load.

Despite the additional struts, the kite retains direct and responsive steering through its lightweight material combination and refined wingtip geometry.

Controlled Loop Performance

The Pace Pro 2 is specifically tuned for clean single loops and heli loops. Its turning radius remains smooth and predictable, allowing riders to judge the kite’s position and recovery with greater accuracy at height.

Compared with the XR and XR Pro, the loop is less aggressive and easier to control. Smaller Pace Pro 2 sizes remain capable of advanced double-loop performance in the hands of highly experienced riders.

Second Lift and Extended Hangtime

A clearly defined second lift supports the rider after takeoff, extending the airborne phase and providing additional time to complete rotations, board-offs, and other technical maneuvers.

This sustained lift also helps produce smoother catches and more controlled landings after high jumps and committed loops.

Loaded-Pop Performance

The Pace Pro 2 does not rely entirely on automatic sheet-and-go lift. It rewards riders who actively build line tension and board load before releasing into the jump.

Precise timing produces explosive takeoffs and exceptional vertical acceleration, making the kite especially suitable for performance-oriented Big Air and hooked freestyle.

Key Features

  • Ultra-high-performance Big Air, kiteloop, and freestyle kite
  • Five-strut frame for maximum high-end stability
  • Exceptional vertical lift and boosting performance
  • Defined second lift for extended hangtime
  • Clean and predictable single-loop radii
  • Controlled heli-loop performance
  • High loop stability under heavy load
  • Loaded-pop support for explosive takeoffs
  • Direct and responsive steering
  • Calm, planted flight characteristics in demanding conditions
  • High-aspect performance geometry
  • Adjustable CIT turning and bar-feedback settings

Aluula Gold Leading Edge

The leading edge is constructed from ultra-stiff and lightweight Aluula Gold. Its exceptional structural rigidity improves power transmission, maintains the kite’s intended profile under load, and provides precise response through the control bar.

ExoTex Light Struts

Five lightweight ExoTex Light struts support the canopy without creating the excessive weight normally associated with a more heavily structured kite.

The combination of an Aluula leading edge and ExoTex Light struts preserves agility and responsive steering while providing the stability required for modern Big Air.

Fixed 14-Point Bridle

A fixed bridle supports the kite’s arc at 14 points. The additional support allows CORE to use a refined leading-edge diameter while maintaining stability, precise positioning, and a solid connection through the front lines.

The bridle is particularly effective during loaded-pop and pre-pop jumping techniques, where consistent line tension and accurate kite positioning are essential.

CoreTex 2 Triple-Ripstop Canopy

The low-stretch CoreTex 2 canopy helps preserve the kite’s designed shape through gusts, heavy loading, and repeated high-performance use.

Its stable profile contributes to linear power delivery, accurate control, and dependable flight characteristics throughout the kite’s usable wind range.

CIT Tuning Modes

CORE’s Intelligent Trim System allows riders to adjust turning speed, bar feedback, and general flight characteristics according to personal preference and riding style.

Always keep the settings symmetrical on both wingtips.

HyperFlow Inflation System

The HyperFlow system uses enlarged internal hoses and connections to improve airflow between the leading edge and struts. This allows faster inflation and deflation through the integrated Speed Valve 2.

Durability Features

  • CORE Power Seam: Reinforced leading-edge seam designed for demanding structural loads
  • Kevlar Patches: Lightweight abrasion protection at high-wear locations
  • CoreTex 2 Canopy: Robust, low-stretch triple-ripstop material
  • Six-Year Parts Support: CORE commits to maintaining replacement-part availability for at least six years

Sizes and Wind Ranges

Kite Size Manufacturer Wind Range
6m 20–42 knots
7m 17–38 knots
8m 15–36 knots
9m 13–33 knots
10m 12–30 knots
12m 11–26 knots

Published wind ranges are general manufacturer guidance. Suitable sizing depends on rider weight, board size, experience, water conditions, wind quality, and riding style.

Control-Bar Compatibility

The Pace Pro 2 must be used with a compatible CORE Sensor 4 or Sensor 4S-generation control bar equipped with the SFS+ single-front-line safety system.

Sensor 3S and older CORE bar systems do not provide the required complete flag-out behavior for this fixed-bridle kite and must not be used.

Always verify the bar model, line condition, line lengths, safety system, and line-split configuration before launching.

What’s Included

  • CORE Pace Pro 2 kite in the selected size
  • CORE kite backpack
  • Repair kit
  • User manual

Kite only: control bar, flying lines, pump, safety leash, harness, board, and other accessories are sold separately.

Recommended Rider

The Pace Pro 2 is intended for advanced and expert riders actively progressing in Big Air, kiteloops, and performance freestyle. It rewards accurate edging, timing, and kite control rather than automatically producing performance for the rider.

Big Air kiteboarding and kiteloops involve substantial risk. Use proper protective equipment, receive professional instruction, and ride only within your ability and appropriate conditions.
