The CORE SLC Stabilizer Rear Wing provides stable takeoffs, consistent front-foot pressure, and smooth, controlled turning throughout a wide range of riding speeds.

Its larger 300 cm² surface area creates a balanced and forgiving foil feel, helping riders maintain steady pitch control while learning transitions, carving, or cruising through changing water conditions.

Balanced by Design

The SLC Stabilizer is designed to produce even and predictable flight. Its deeper foil profile provides linear front-foot pressure as speed increases, helping the rider understand what the foil is doing without sudden or unpredictable pitch changes.

This stable behavior makes takeoffs easier and gives riders more confidence while developing jibes, tacks, 360s, and other foil transitions.

Smooth Dihedral Turning

The stabilizer’s dihedral curvature allows the foil to roll smoothly into turns. This creates a controlled, skateboard-like carving sensation and helps the rider use the rear wing as a pivot point during transitions.

The result is a foil that feels stable while traveling straight but remains responsive enough for smooth carving and maneuver progression.

Linear Front-Foot Pressure

The deeper stabilizer profile is tuned to maintain consistent front-foot pressure across the foil’s usable speed range. This helps reduce sudden changes in pitch and makes it easier to maintain a comfortable riding height.

PU Carbon Sandwich Construction

The SLC Stabilizer uses a lightweight carbon construction around a PU foam core. This sandwich structure reduces weight while maintaining the stiffness required for precise foil control.

The rigid connection improves feedback through the rider’s feet, while the lightweight design helps keep the complete foil responsive during turns and transitions.

This stabilizer is designed exclusively for the original CORE SLC foil platform.

Not compatible with the newer CORE CFS foil platform. CORE CFS stabilizers, fuselages, front wings, and related components use a different system.

Confirm the foil generation and mounting interface before ordering replacement components.

Mounting hardware and protective cover are not confirmed as included unless specifically shown or stated.

The compatible 40 × 11 cm CORE Stabilizer Cover is sold separately.

Assembly and Maintenance

• Inspect the stabilizer, fuselage connection, threaded holes, and mounting hardware before every session.
• Remove sand, salt, and debris from all mounting surfaces before assembly.
• Use only the correct CORE-specified screws and Torx tool.
• Apply suitable marine anti-corrosion compound when recommended.
• Tighten mounting screws evenly to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
• Do not overtighten screws or use damaged hardware.
• Rinse the stabilizer and foil components with fresh water after saltwater use.
• Disassemble the foil periodically to prevent corrosion and seized hardware.
• Do not ride a stabilizer showing cracks, delamination, impact damage, or movement at the mounting connection.

Important Compatibility Notice

The CORE SLC is an earlier foil platform and should not be confused with the current CORE Compatible Foil System. Contact Houston Kiteboarding before ordering if you are uncertain which CORE foil generation you own.
